Dear Students,

Due to the current circumstances with the Covid-19 virus and also the air quality in Pai, Pai Yoga shala has decided to adhere to safety protocol that has been applied throughout the world and also cancel the class starting from Monday 16 March, 2020 until 31 March, 2020. We are really care for our students and this seems to be a wise step to improve the local and global community’s health. Our classes will resume on 1 April, 2020.

  1. สถานการณ์การระบาดของไวรัสมCo-Vid19 มีการขยายตัวมากขึ้นและเริ่มใกล้ตัวเรามากขึ้นทุกวัน โดยเฉพาะลูกค้าต่างชาติที่มา Drop in class ซึ่งส่วนใหญ่เป็นชาติที่มาทางยุโรปเป็นหลัก และเหตุการณ์ระบาดหนักตอนนี้ก็จะเกิดขึ้นที่ยุโรปที่มากกว่าจีน โอกาสความเสี่ยงสูงที่ครูผู้สอนและสมาชิกรายเดือนจะใกล้ชิดกับคนกลุ่มนี้มีมาก ดังนั้นเราเลยป้องกันไว้ก่อนเพื่อความปลอดภัยของสุขภาพเพื่อนสมาชิกรายของเราสำคัญ

This slow paced Hatha class is geared toward those new to yoga or those seeking to gentle or more restorative class. Time is spent in teaching the fundamentals of yoga practice. The class will generally start with meditation the flowing and breaking down the sun salutations and other fundamental poses and finished with well-deserved relaxation.

Vinyasa for beginners is an introduction on the classical hatha postures combined with the flow from vinyasa style. You will flow from one to another posture with some pauses in between for more detailed information and teacher demonstration.

Hatha is an all-levels class . Hatha is the most classic and traditional style of yoga and focuses on integrating body, mind and breath. It emphasises on holding the poses for longer periods to teach proper alignment. It will use props (such as bolsters, blocks, straps, etc) to facilitate everyone to understand the pose in their own way. It will balance the energy flow and generate mental calmness.

Vinyasa is a traditional Vinyasa style class that combines hatha postures with some detail flourished by a flow sequence to keep the body moving, connecting the breath to the posture.

Gentle Vinyasa is the appropriate class for students who enjoy and desire a slower paced yoga practice. These classes are designed to give detailed instruction and to be less physically challenging than other vinyasa classes. Gentle vinyasa yoga classes will allow the student to gain strength and flexibility at their own pace with safety and alignment as the main focus.

Yin & Yang Flow is  a balanced practice. The ebb and flow of breath-work and feminine, soft, ‘yin style’ opening yoga asana, gradually growing into a strong, deep and dynamic flow of masculine ‘yang style’. Closing with a delicious ‘yin style’ sequence, longer hold and releasing, restorative poses and light guided mediation. The movement of posture with breath sets a mindful and steady pace that progresses in intensity to a continual fluid movement, with a feeling of lightness, strength and spaciousness.

Restorative is an extremely relaxing yoga practice that acts on the nervous system, soothing it completely. This is the perfect class if you have been doing a lot of physical activity and are in need of a active recovery. In this practice we hold the postures for a longer time using bolsters, blocks, blankets, sandbags and other props, to support the body in the most comfortable way possible to reduce a safe and restorative practise. In this way, space is made so that the body can surrender, calm itself and proceed to its self-healing capacities.

Yin Yoga is a slow-paced class where the postures are held for longer periods of time. It ranges from 45 seconds and it can last up to five minutes or more, depending on the posture. Yin Yoga postures apply moderate stress to the connective tissues of the body—the tendons, fascia, and ligaments—with the aim of increasing circulation in the joints and improving flexibility. It’s more quiets class than the restorative class and it brings more awareness of inner silence.

This experienced Hatha class explores further the detail of alignment and it will induce a more meditative state. It is a more challenging class than the all level hatha class and it will deepen the asana knowledge of the experienced practitioner. Longer holds and more difficult standing poses, backbends, arm balances and inversions are worked on. This class is not recommended for pure beginners.

Power Vinyasa is a powerful, energetic form of yoga where students fluidly move from one pose to the next while connecting their breathing to their movements. It incorporates strength, flexibility, balance, cardio and physical and mental stamina in one session. This class is not recommended for pure beginners.
